Roberto Montenegro(Guadalajara 1885-Cd. De México 1968)
Painter, lithographer and set designer. He studied at the Academia de San Carlos. Head of the Visual Arts Department at the Secretaría de Educación Pública. In 1934 he was named director of the Museo de Artes Populares. In 1967 he received the Premio Nacional de las Artes.
